About our Diabetes Mellitus Treatment:
In Omshree Sidha Hospital, we have developed special treatment techniques and medicines for Diabetes Mellitus. Sometimes the blood sugar level may be as high as 300 mg/dl or 400 mg/dl and above. In such cases too, it may come to the normal level gradually. In most cases diabetes patients have associated problems as well. The duration varies from patient to patient, and depends on many factors such as age of the patient, family history, life style, food habits, duration and severity of the disease, current medicines ( OHA, insulin) etc…
Normally, we admit the patient for not less than 3 weeks, and within 1 to 3 weeks blood sugar comes under control. The patient has to continue the medication as per directions. At the moment we can’t say how long you have to continue the medication. You can go to our testimonials page, where you can see the patients have written or told their experience with name and address, (photo if available). Some of them may be known to you or you may have some close friends of them. You can enquire them personally. A complete blood investigation before and after the treatment will help you to evaluate the treatment, and gives you more satisfaction.
We invite all health organizations all over the world (non profitable) who are ready to sponsor poor patients, we will charge only 50%. We can join hands in helping the poor. If any poor patient comes for the treatment, we are happy to treat them at a discount rate, but they have to prove their actual income which is not sufficient for the treatment.

What is Diabetes Mellitus?
Diabetes mellitus (DM), commonly referred to as diabetes, is a group of metabolic diseases in which there are high blood sugar levels over a prolonged period. Diabetes is due to either the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or the cells of the body do not respond properly to the insulin produced. Symptoms of high blood sugar include frequent urination, increased thirst, and increased hunger. Type 1 diabetes is partly inherited, and then triggered by certain infections. However, even in those who have inherited the susceptibility, type 1 DM seems to require an environmental trigger. Type 2 diabetes is mainly due to lifestyle factors and genetics. Lifestyle factors includes obesity, lack of physical activity, poor diet, stress etc…Dietary factors also influence the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
Prevention and treatment involve a healthy diet, physical exercise, maintaining a normal body weight, and avoiding use of tobacco. Control of blood pressure and maintaining proper foot care are important for people with the disease. If left untreated, diabetes can cause many complications. Serious long-term complications include diabetic ketoacidosis, cardiovascular disease, stroke, chronic kidney failure, foot ulcers, and damage to the eyes.
